About Jennifer
Hello, I am Jennifer Manning-Paro, owner and founder of Hands of Grace Animal Massage and Bodywork. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember, and have always had a passion for their care and well-being. I grew up in East Tennessee and after graduating high school I spent five years in the United States Marine Corps. Following my tour of duty, I attended college in Louisville, Kentucky, where I studied Veterinary Technology and Zoo Animal Technology. I spent the next seven years working in various pet stores, humane societies, veterinary clinics, and even did an internship at the Louisville Zoo. In 2016 I left the veterinary field in order to stay at home full time with our newborn daughter. Our little girl is now four years old and I am looking to once again pursue my passion for helping companion animals, while still having an active role in my daughter's daily life. In June 2020 I attended PetMassage Training & Research Institute and completed training to become a Certified PetMassage Practitioner in June 2021. I plan to return to PetMassage Training & Research Institute in September 2021 to attend their Advanced Level training. Upon completion of these two courses I will be eligible to take the NBCAAM Test for Small Animal Massage National Certification. Please stay tuned as I begin this exciting stage of my career! |
My family and I currently share our hearts and home with our two dogs, Optimus Prime ( a 5 year old bloodhound) and Nikki ( a 2 year old Dutch Shepherd mix), our two cats, Jinga (who loves to boss around the entire household) and Dunkin (who thinks he's a dog), a ball python (Leo) and a small flock of chickens.
